Ex-BSP ministers son opens fire,youth critical

The victim,who sustained bullet injury on his head,is admitted to the CSMMU Trauma centre in Lucknow where his condition is stated to be critical.

Faizabad Range DIG Anand Swaroop said police are conducting raids to arrest Rajbhars son and others involved in the incident.

Ambedkar Nagar SP V K Dohre told The Indian Express that the incident took place when members of Verma community were engaged in Holi revelry at Basaudi village.

Some youths made some objectionable remarks against Rajbhar community while the members of the community were passing by. This led to a clash between the two communities and Ram Achal Rajbhars son Munna too joined the row along with some armed associates. Munna and his men opened fire injuring Anil Verma. He was rushed hospital,Dohre said.
