Recruitment Process Outsourcing firm Elixir said it is planning to double its workforce to over 400 people by the end of this year,as part of efforts to expand its footprint across the country.
The company also plans to have 22 offices by end of this year across the country along with its existing 10 offices,Elixir said in a statement.
8220;Elixir is at a definitive point in its existence where,after assessing the needs of the industries across sectors,we are expanding our network of offices pan-India,8221; Elixir managing director Vipul Prakash said.
8220;With the plan for 22 offices by end of the year in place,we have already accounted for the burgeoning opportunities within the recruitment domain as the economy picks up pace and witnesses extensive growth,8221; Prakash added.
With the extended reach,Elixir plans to be prepared to handle the expected surge in hiring especially in booming sectors like manufacturing,infrastructure,IT/ITeS,pharma,financial services among others.
According to government estimates,the workforce in the country is expected to grow from the current estimate of 520 million to 574 million adding close to 11 million workers annually in the next five years.
