DGCA gives 3 more names to cops

We have received three more names from the DGCA regarding the use of fake marksheets to get CPL

The Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has forwarded to the Delhi Police the names of three more persons who were found to have produced forged marksheets to procure commercial commercial flying licence.

We have received three more names from the DGCA regarding the use of fake marksheets to get CPL. We are investigating it. Some pilots are absconding, said Ashok Chand,Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime).

The Delhi Police,which initiated investigations in the pilot licence rackets,had on April 5 arrested two staffers of DGCA for allegedly helping people to obtain pilot licences using forged documents,taking the total number of arrests to 13.

Five pilots,three DGCA staffers and three touts have been arrested by Delhi Police while two have been apprehended by the Rajasthan Police in Jaipur.
