He Aamir is one of the terrorists who conducted the bomb blast between gates number 4 and 5 of the Delhi High Court.

A special NIA court in Delhi Thursday sent Aamir Abbas Dev,one of the Kishtwar teenagers arrested for allegedly sending the email which owned the Delhi High Court blast,to judicial custody for a day after the NIA claimed he was one of those who carried out the September 7 attack.

He Aamir is one of the terrorists who conducted the bomb blast between gates number 4 and 5 of the Delhi High Court. He is one of the conspirators and needs to be interrogated thoroughly to trace their complicity in this terrorist crime. Other associates are also involved in this terrorist crime and conspiracy, the NIA said in its application seeking permission to interrogate the accused.

Special Judge H S Sharma also sent Aamirs co-accused Abid Hussain,a class IX student at Islamia Faridia Higher Secondary School in Kishtwar,to NIA custody till October 5. Aamir was sent to judicial custody because he did not have a lawyer to defend him.

The hearings were held in-camera and no reporters were allowed inside the courtroom.

Abid and Aamir have been charged under various sections of the IPC,the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act,and the Explosive Substances Act,dealing with conspiracy, murder, attempt to kill, causing hurt and using explosives.

Abid was arrested on September 13 and Aamir three days later. They were brought to Delhi Wednesday and have been kept in a guest house in Noida as the NIA does not have a lock-up at its headquarters. Shariq Ahmed, arrested along with Abid,is in the custody of the Jammu and Kashmir Police.

Abid reportedly told the court he was not a minor and that his father had wrongly entered his date of birth as 1995 in school records.

The NIA,which has so far only managed to track down the emails that had claimed responsibility for the attack, said it would confront the two teenagers with available evidence. We believe that a new group, which appears to be an off-shoot of an old old group, may be involved in the blast, said an NIA official.

The NIA alleged that Aamir was aware of plan to carry out the blasts and had given the draft of the email to Abid two days before the attack. Aamir, the NIA claimed, knows Hindi,English and Urdu, though his father Ghulam Abbas had claimed otherwise. Abbas had also alleged that his son had been wrongly implicated.

Aamir reportedly told the court that he was a correspondence student of Hyderabads Moulana Azad National Urdu University.

Aamirs brother,a student in Aizwal who has been summoned by the NIA for questioning reportedly reached Delhi on Wednesday, sources said.
