Customs collector found murdered at Jaipur home

The police are yet to trace the culprits and a probe has been initiated.

Customs collector Sriram Meena was found murdered in his Pratapnagar residence early on Monday.

Police suspect it to be a case of burglary as cash and jewellery from the house were missing.

The burglars broke into his house and after slitting his throat,fled with valuables and cash,police said.

On Sunday,Meenas wife along with their two children left for her fathers place. The housemaid found Meenas body on Monday morning.

The police are yet to trace the culprits and a probe has been initiated.
