CPM rectification roadmap likely soon

The rectification process in the CPM is set to begin from the top. Almost two months after it finalised a document to correct deviated comrades,the CPM will soon chart a roadmap for its implementation.

Sources said the drive would in all likelihood begin from the topthe Politburo and the Central Committee. The CPM will find out whether members of these two bodies were indulging in any wrong-doing or are afflicted by parliamentary deviation. Since the party is carrying out a rectification exercise,it is logical that the drive begins from the top,after all those in the Politburo and Central Committee are leading the party in their respective states, a leader said.

CPM units from state to local level have been discussing the rectification document. The Politburo at its two-day meeting this weekend will now decide on its actual implementation,sources said.
