Seth country head at Alcatel-Lucent

Alcatel-Lucent has appointed Munish Seth as country head for its Indian business. Seth takes over from Vivek Mohan,who now heads Alcatel-Lucents global services business. Seth will report to Rajeev Singh-Molares,president of the Asia-Pacific region. Before his new position,Munish had been in charge of customer solution and support at Alcatel-Lucents Asia-Pacific region. Prior to that,he was chief technical officer and director,bids amp; proposals,at Alcatel-Lucent,India.

PE Electronics gets two COOs

PE Electronics,a new business unit that brings together two premium brands,Philips and Electrolux,has appointed Neeraj Sethi and Sajeev R as chief operating officers. Sethi will head the range of television products of brand Philips that includes LED,LCD and ultra slim CRT,while Sajeev R will take charge of the range of home appliances of brand Electrolux which includes refrigerators,air-conditioners,washing machines and microwave ovens.

Patni gets chief delivery officer

Patni Computer Systems has appointed Manish Mehta as executive vice-president and chief delivery officer,the company said in a notice to the Bombay Stock Exchange. Mehta earlier worked with Mahindra Satyam,the erstwhile Satyam Computer Services,as chief delivery officer for India,Asia Pacific,and Europe,Middle East and Africa regions,the release said.

FOX Intl appoints new VP mktg

FOX International channel has appointed Debarpita Banerjee as vice-president,marketing,in India. Banerjee has worked with advertising companies like BBDO,Leo Burnett and JWT,where she took charge of brands such as Horlicks,ICI Dulux,Coca Cola,GSK and SBI,a statement said. In her new job,Banerjee will be responsible for marketing and communication initiatives for channels in FOXs bouquet,including National Geographic,FOX History amp; Entertainment,Baby TV,Nat Geo Wild,Nat Geo Adventure,Nat Geo Music and National Geographic Channel HD.
