China stocks end down 1.7 per cent

China key stock index ended down 1.7 pct on Friday,pulling back from a 3-month closing high.

China key stock index ended down 1.7 percent on Friday,pulling back from a three-month closing high in the previous session,as investors took profit in sectors such as financials and healthcare that had outperformed in the recent rally.

The Shanghai Composite Index closed at 2,642.3 points,still up 1.4 percent for the week after breaching key support on Thursday at 2,680.

Volume eased to 119 billion yuan 17.53 billion from 133 billion yuan on Thursday.

Losing Shanghai shares outnumbered gainers 787 to 111.
