Chandys son slaps notice on BJP leader

With political slugfest over the solar scam continuing,Chief Minister Oommen Chandys son on Thursday shot off a legal notice to BJP state general secretary K Surendran for making defamatory statements. Taking serious offence to Surendrans allegation that he had close association with a solar energy firm,the CMs son,Chandy Oommen,threatened to sue him unless he withdrew the statement and made a public apology.

Meanwhile,CPM leader V S Achuthanandan dubbed as the biggest joke the CMs assertion that he would remain in office to prove the truth.
