Iran: Rafsanjani loses key position
TEHRAN: Former president Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani lost his position Tuesday as head of the clerical body,Experts Assembly,which chooses or dismisses the supreme leader. Rafsanjani is a bitter enemy of President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and supported his rival Mir Hussein Moussavi in Irans 2009 presidential polls.
