Thai PM extends curfew; no polls till unrest over

Bangkok: Thailands Prime Minister on Sunday extended a nighttime curfew in the capital and said he will consider early polls after violence that wracked the nation for two months is over. Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva stressed his government was in control of the capital which has largely returned to normal. Schools,government offices and the stock exchange are to open Monday.

LONDON: As Britains new coalition government prepares to cut public spending,four-fifth of its members are millionaires,The Sunday Times said. PM David Cameron has 3.4 million and is sixth on the list which is topped by Philip Hammond,transport secretary,who has 7.1 million.

3 jailed in UK for killing Indian

LONDON: Three persons have been jailed for nine years each after being convicted of killing an Indian worker in Norfolk,for his Blackberry phone that they later sold for 60 pounds.
