AUSTIN: Thousands of people streamed off the campuses at the University of Texas and North Dakota State University Friday after phoned-in bomb threats prompted evacuations. No bombs had been found by Friday noon.

Man in US Capitol bomb plot gets 30 yrs in jail

ALEXANDRIA: A man has been sentenced to 30 years in prison for plotting to detonate a suicide bomb at the US Capitol. The term imposed on 29-year-old Amine El-Khalifi of Virginia was the highest allowed under a plea deal.
