Obama prays daughters skirt grows longer

Washington: At the National Prayer Breakfast,US President Barack Obama poked fun at his daughter Malia. Speaking of his prayers,he said,Sometimes theyre specific: Lord,give me patience as I watch Malia go to her first dance where there will be boys. Lord,have that skirt get longer as she gets to the dance.

ALGIERS: An Italian woman on a tourist trip to the Sahara desert in Algeria has been kidnapped by al-Qaeda insurgents,Algerias official news agency said Friday. It seems that this is a group which was freed from prison a few months ago and which joined al-Qaeda, the Algerian security source said.
