Nothing sells like Bollywood in India. This was reiterated over the weekend at the Aamby Valley India Bridal Fashion Week at Grand Hyatt,Santa Cruz,Mumbai. The evening started with newly-weds Esha Deol and Bharat Takhtani walking the ramp for a jewellery brand. Malaika Arora Khan transformed into a Christian bride for Mandira Wirk. Wirk,known for her extremely feminine designs,showcased a line of beautiful gowns and draped dresses.

The evening ended with entrepreneur-cum-aspiring actor Siddhartha Mallya walking the ramp like a professional model. He stood out in a red printed bandhgala by Shantanu and Nikhil.

On Sunday,actor Zarine Khan took to the ramp for Falguni and Shane Peacock. Her Bollywood career may have come to a standstill,but in a fuschia silk lehenga choli,she sure knew how to make heads turn. Soha Ali Khan,clad in a Vikram Phadnis red and gold lehenga,a royal blue velvet choli and a red tulle dupatta,looked like a resplendent bride. Was Kunal Khemu watching from the front row?
