Big Synergys sitcom on Star Plus

Amrita Raichand,best remembered for the Whirlpool ad,is playing the title role in Shrimatiji,the first ever sitcom by Big Synergy.

Siddhartha Basus Big Synergy,is all set to produce its first-ever sitcom Shrimatiji.

The serial,based in Delhi,is being scripted by Ashwini Dheer of FIR fame. Dheer is also scripting Lapatagunj and had directed the successful comedy film Atithi8230; Tum Kab Jaoge?

He says,The serial is about a housewife with two kids,who handles all problems on her own,and that too with a pinch of humour. It is like a satire.

Amrita Raichand,best remembered for the Whirlpool ad,is playing the title role. She was also seen on the small screen in Time Bomb and acted in a film Detective Mani among other projects.

It is scheduled to air on Star Plus sometime in November.
