BADRINATH YATRA HIT

The ongoing Badrinath Yatra has been disrupted due after a bridge near Lam Bagar in Chamoli district got washed away following a flash flood resulting from a cloud burst.More than 2,000 yatris are stranded on the Badrinath end of the bridge. Officials said it would take at least four days for traffic to resume on the stretch,considered prone to landslides during the monsoon season.
