Nephew of radical Kashmiri leader,Asiya Andrabi,has been booked for attempt to murder and illegal possession of explosives after being arrested during a raid by security agencies in Islamabad.
Mohammad Shoaib Andrabi was remanded in police custody for three days by the court on Wednesday. He was booked under sections 324 and 109 of the Pakistan Penal Code and sections 4 and 5 of the Explosive Act and sections 13,20 and 65 of the Pakistan Arms Ordinance.
Police sought Shoaibs custody for seven days as they had recovered a huge cache of arms and ammunition from Shoaibs possession and were suspicious that he belongs to a militant group. His custody is necessary for investigation and to arrest his accomplices, said an application submitted by the police. Police said his accomplices belong to Jamp;K.
