Andhra Governor meets Shinde

Narasimhan described the visit as courtesy call.

With agitation in Andhra Pradesh over bifurcation of the state continuing,Governor E S L Narasimhan on Wednesday met Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde.

The Home Minister heads the GoM set up for the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh. Narasimhan described the visit as courtesy call and said nothing related to Telangana was discussed. Earlier,Narasimhan met Union Finance Minister P Chidambaram and AICC president Sonia Gandhi.

A 50-year-old Indian-origin motel manager was beheaded in front of his wife and teenage son in US's Dallas, after a dispute over a broken washing machine, according to the Dallas Police Department. The incident took place on Wednesday morning at the Downtown Suites motel in Dallas.
