The state’s largest milk producer Gujarat Co-operative Milk Marketing Federation (GCMMF),which markets Amul brand of dairy products,today said it will double it’s retail outlets pan-India from existing 5,000 to 10,000 by 2012.
“We aim to double the count of Amul Preferred Outlets (APOs) pan-India from the existing 5,000 to 10,000 by 2012. By the end of this fiscal we would add close to 2,000 such outlets,” National Head Retail Amul India Debashis Chattopadhayay said.
“The outlets shall be opened on franchise model,” he said,while talking to reporters on the sidelines of Franchise India organised Fro2010-30th National Frachise show here.
