Amul to double its retail outlets pan-India

GCMMF which markets Amul brand of dairy products,said it will double it's retail outlets pan-India.

The state8217;s largest milk producer Gujarat Co-operative Milk Marketing Federation GCMMF,which markets Amul brand of dairy products,today said it will double it8217;s retail outlets pan-India from existing 5,000 to 10,000 by 2012.

8220;We aim to double the count of Amul Preferred Outlets APOs pan-India from the existing 5,000 to 10,000 by 2012. By the end of this fiscal we would add close to 2,000 such outlets,8221; National Head Retail Amul India Debashis Chattopadhayay said.

8220;The outlets shall be opened on franchise model,8221; he said,while talking to reporters on the sidelines of Franchise India organised Fro2010-30th National Frachise show here.
