Calling BJP hypocrite,the Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Monday hit out at BJP leader Arun Jaitley for terming the Kishtwar communal violence a threat to Indias sovereignty. The CM also announced on Monday that once the situation improves in Kishtwar region,an all-party delegation will visit the affected region with the message of peace. Pointing out that in Kishtwar there have been three unfortunate deaths including one Hindu and two Muslims, Omar tweeted that the state government has ordered a judicial inquiry. Would the BJP care to recount its 2002 response, he wrote. Would Jaitley be so kind as to inform Parliament whether the Gujarat Home Minister or MoS Home resigned or even offered to in 2002, the CM asked. Chairing an all-party meeting on Monday,the Chief Minister also said that the government would take all measures to restore calm in the clash-hit areas. Government and all political parties,besides the civil society,have to work together for the larger interest of the state and its people, he said. He said the government has announced immediate relief to the people affected by violence.The meeting was attended by different political party members like BJP,PDP,Congress and National Conference besides representatives of other local parties.
