Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda today announced to give nine subsidised LPG cylinders instead of six to families living below poverty line in the state.

“Families living below poverty line in Haryana would get three more LPG cylinders on the pattern of Delhi Government at subsidised rate over and above the six LPG cylinders per household annually as announced by Union government,” Hooda said in an official release.

The decision to this effect has been taken in wake of the appeal made by UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi to give three extra subsidised gas cylinders in the Congress governed states.
