Pakistan captain Inzamam-ul Haq today admitted that it would be tough for him to motivate his players for the last match in Karachi after the rout in the fourth one-dayer here handed India the series.
Inzamam said his side had been thoroughly outplayed by India in all departments of the game and he was very disappointed with the outcome. “It would be very difficult after this loss to motivate the team. But I will try. We will also give a chance to those bowlers who have not played so far in the series,” he said.
“India played well in all three departments of the game. We also did not bat well. I am very disappointed. It was a big series and we lost it,” said Inzamam.
Inzamam, however, did not think that the pressure of a home series was the reason for the defeat. “The pressure was definitely there. But the players are used to it and that was not the reason for the defeat,” he said.
