Virk men work on DGP post

Supporters of S S Virk, the controversial former Punjab DGP who was suspended by the SAD-BJP Government, are hopeful he would become the next DGP of Maharashtra since the appointment of A N Roy to the post has been set aside by the Central Administrative Tribunal CAT. Virk belongs to the Maharashtra cadre. However, with Roy8217;s backers determined to get the Government to challenge the CAT ruling in the state high court, Virk chances are slim.
