Vijay stays in lead

MUMBAI, JAN 30: Vijay Kumar of Lucknow maintained his lead of two shots in the Telco and Indian Oil-sponsored Navy Golf Pro-Am championships at the US Course here today.

After carding sub-par rounds, Vijay parred the course and has a total of 205. Two strokes behind him are Basad Ali, Feroz Ali and Magan Subba Rao.Vijay had a sedate round with just two bogies and two birdies. Magan, considered the favourite, also parred the course. At one point he was ahead of Vijay but a double bogey on the 15th hole, put paid to his efforts.Firoze Ali fired one-under 69 to but the best round of the day came from Basad Ali who fired 65.
