CHANDIGARH, March 3: Vasco Club of Goa emerged winners in the first All India Prize Money Shri Guru Gobind Singh Football Tournament organised by Shri Guru Gobind Singh Football Stadium in Jalandhar. The Goa team prevailed over Punjab State Electricity Board, Hoshiarpur by 5-4 on penalties in the final.
The winners were richer by Rs 50,000 and the powermen received Rs 35,000. Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal distributed the prizes. He also announced a grant of Rs one lakh to the organisers.
Golf tourney
Shimla: The Himachal Pradesh Golf Associatioon is organising atwo-day golf tournament from April 10 at the Naldehra golf course. According to a release three other tournaments beginning from May 8 and 9 had also been proposed for the year. The second tournament will be hold on July 10 and 11 followed by the last on September 11 and 12.

Gurdaspur: Anil Raj won gold in the above 75 kg category in the Gurdaspur District body building championship organised here yesterday. Kulmeet was declared the winner in the 70kg category.

Juniors: 1 Karan Bhogal, 2 Rakesh Kumar, 3 Amardeep Sharma. Sub-juniors: 1 Surinder Kumar, 2 Puran Chand, 3 Rajbir Singh.
