LPG tanker stolen
An LPG tanker HR 29 GA 0297 worth Rs 12 lakhs belonging to Bhagatsinh Rameshwar Rathod, a resident of Sawai Madhopur in Rajasthan, was stolen from GIDC, Ranoli. Investigations are on. A Sunny moped GJ 6 FF 2976 worth Rs 9,000 belonging to Mahesh Kumar Ramanlal Shah, a resident of Bodelli in Sankheda taluka, was stolen from Padmavati Triangle near Nyaya Mandir yesterday.

Burglar caught
The Makarpura police have reportedly arrested a burglar and recovered goods worth thousands of rupees from his house in Tarsali. The goods had been recently stolen from five cabins and paan shops near the Tarsali bus stand. The arrested person, Jiranjan Das Narayan Das Jat, also confessed to having burgled a house in Makarpura recently. Further investigations are on.

Suicide bid
The Gorwa police registered a case of attempted suicide against a boy, Vashil Kamleshbhai Desai, a resident of Sonal Park Society in Subhanpura, yesterday. According to the police, he felt humiliated after he was beaten up by his father for going to see a film and tried to end his life by consuming acid. He is now undergoing treatment in the SSG Hospital.

Battery stolen
A 12-Volt battery worth Rs 1,500 was reportedly stolen from a Swaraj Mazada GJ 6 T 5599 parked in house no. B-68, Aksharta Society, near Karelibaug Water Tank last night. The Karelibaug police have registered a case.
