
CHANDIGARH, Nov 23: The Aruna-Abhey Oswal Trust will donate Rs 40 crore annually to rehabilitate cyclone victims, said a press note received here today. The money will go to establish hospitals and medical facilities, educational institutions, provision of drinking water and creation of a wide array of self-employment avenues.
Over the next five years, the Trust will generate a corpus of Rs 200 crore and negotiate for loans to the affected people for self-employment schemes, involving another Rs 800 crore.
