Thirty persons were killed and several others injured, many of them seriously, when an Express train rammed into a bus at an unmanned railway crossing at Chaadi village under the Sahwar police station in Etah district of Uttar Pradesh this morning.
The mishap took place when the Super Express 5301 UP going to Kashganj from Kanpur hit a private bus on an unmanned crossing near Sahwar. The bus plunged into the nearby Godha canal.
By the evening 30 bodies of the bus passengers had been retrieved.
