MUMBAI, FEB 20: Central Railway officials have said that of the seven bodies identified by evening one is of Nirmala Jaykumar (25) of Ulhasnagar. Her husband has identified her body.
Seventy-year-old Shama Devi Soni from Borivali, who had received minor injuries in the accident, was released today from the Bhusawal hospital. However, Railway officials were not sure whether she had returned to the city or proceeded to another place. The Railway enquiry counters in the city were not crowded today since most of the people here had either received phone calls from their relatives travelling on the ill-fated train or had left for Bhusawal on passes provided by the Railways.
Anil Prabhu from Bhandup who had arrived at CST yesterday to enquire about his son-in-law heaved a sigh of relief when he realised that he had left for Delhi by the Rajdhani Express instead.
