Guess what the world is tuning in to? The Indica Project8217;s Horn OK Please. Voted the best album in its genre by the All Music Guide, the jury comprised 200 music writers and critics who contribute to magazines like Rolling Stone, Roots World, Billboard and other music and lifestyle publications. They polled from a selection of 2,30,000 CDs and picked D Wood and Storms8217;s debut album.

Here8217;s what some critics had to say about the album: quot; With intelligent compositions, tight ensemble work and an edgy urban feeling, that8217;s equal parts Bombay and New York, Horn OK Please is a powerful and pleasing debut.quot; 8212; Rhythm

quot; The obvious sensation that hits you in the face here is the seamless transparent integration of distinct formulas and genres.quot; 8212; Glenn AstaritaWhat a shame then that Indian record companies think nothing of ignoring them. If only they8217;d put a gag on singers like Mastee, Paloma and Tanya and concentrated on promoting real music. Saying that they are only catering to public demand is no excuse forpushing crap. Anyway, if you are interested in listening to Horn OK Please log on to the net and order it off a cyber shop. And keep an eye out for their next album which should be ready by August featuring artists from India, Brazil, South Africa and New York. And no, no Indian company is releasing the album. Storms and D Wood are talking to two well-known World Music/Jazz labels based in New York.
