PUNE, Jan 2: Thomas Cupper and India number two Abhinn Shyam Gupta of Air-India and former National champion Manjusha Kanwar of Maharashtra have been given the place of pride in the Vth Late V.V Natu Memorial badminton championship which gets underway at the WIE Sports Complex, on Monday.

A total of 32 entries make up the main draw of the men8217;s singles event who would be joined by eight qualifiers.

Mens Singles 32 Entries: 1. Abhinn Shyam Gupta Air-India; 2. Shrikant Bakshi Railways; 3. Sachin Ratti Railways; 4. Mangrish Palekar Railways.

Doubles 30 Entries: 1. George Thomas amp; Marcos Bristow Kerala; 2. Ambrish Shinde Railways amp; Mayur Ghatnekar Railways; 3. Jaison Xavier amp; Deepak Amarnath Kerala; 4. Bhushan Akut Maharashtra amp; Shrikant Bakshi Railways.
