Dhurandhar Box Office Collection Worldwide Day 36 Update: The wave of Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar finally seems to be calming down as the box office mammoth is running out of steam. The Ranveer Singh starrer is inching closer to the Rs 800 crore net mark in the domestic market, but it looks like it will have to wait for the weekend numbers to do so. According to industry tracker Sacnilk, the film’s collection on day 36 was Rs 3.5 crore, officially making it the lowest-earning day of Dhurandhar’s theatrical run. It’s India net collection is now Rs 793 crore. As per the makers, Jio Studios, the film has already minted Rs 840.85 crore.

As per their data, Dhurandhar is the highest Hindi earner of all time in India. But globally, the Aditya Dhar directorial is far from challenging Sukumar’s Pushpa 2. While Dhurandhar sits at Rs 1238 crore, Pushpa 2 has earned Rs 1742 crore.

The occupancy rates for Dhuradhar have also been falling in the past week, and despite that, the film has earned Rs 51 crore in that period. The occupancy for day 36 averaged out at 15.25%, with the morning and afternoon shows bringing in rates of 7.97% and 16.7%. The evening and night shows followed suit and achieved rates of 17.41% and 18.93%. Even though these numbers are low, the film is still running on more than 2900 screens across the country.

While Sriram Raghavan’s Ikkis was slightly bruising Dhurandhar’s armour, the film now has real competition to face at the box office. The Raja Saab, starring Prabhas, started its theatrical run on January 9, and the film’s opening day numbers were double what Dhurandhar earned. With Rs 54 crore already in their pocket, The Raja Saab’s makers will be hoping to push Dhurandhar out of screens in order to maximise their footfall.

Directed by Aditya Dhar, the cast of Dhurandhar includes Ranveer Singh, Arjun Rampal, Sara Arjun, Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, and R Madhavan.
