Saturn8217;s moon Titan is covered by 8220;dirty8221; ice ridges and seas of liquid natural gas, a team of scientists said on Friday after a week of research into data from the space probe Huygens.

8220;We8217;ve got a flammable world,8221; said Toby Owen, an atmospheric scientist , at a news conference from European Space Agency offices in Paris.

Titan features ice rocks, channels, and indications of liquid from rain. Methane exists as a liquid due to the low surface temperatures, scientists said. Along with nitrogen, it is also a key component of the atmosphere, which, however, lacks oxygen. 8212;Reuters
