Tiny tots celebrate Diwali

Diwali was celebrated with enthusiasm at Maple Bear Canadian Playway and Nursery School, Udham Singh Nagar, on Friday. Children decorated the candles with their little hands and lit up the earthen lamps.

Teachers also made rangolis and decorated the school with a massage 8220;Welcome to the gods.8221; Children came in fancy dresses like Lord Rama, Sita, Hanuman, Bharat, Lakshman, Shatrughan etc. Pre-nursery children decorated candles with glitters, ribbons and stars.

Nursery children painted diyas even as tiny-tots danced to the tunes of Diwali related songs. Veena Aggarwal, principal of the school, told kids the importance of the festival.
