Three students killed in accident

Three B.Tech students of CT Institute were killed in an accident on Sunday night, when the motorcycle they were travelling in hit a heavy vehicle on the 66-foot-wide road, near Partapura.

Three B.Tech students of CT Institute were killed in an accident on Sunday night, when the motorcycle they were travelling in hit a heavy vehicle on the 66-foot-wide road, near Partapura.

The students were admitted to a nearby hospital, where they succumbed to their injuries. Lambra SHO Harpreet Singh said it was yet to be established how the accident took place.

The deceased were identified as Tushar Vaidya, 20, of Jammu, Sumit Rana of Drant village in Palampur and Ajay Bhandhari of Sainbagh, also in Palampur in Himachal Pradesh.

The SHO said bodies have been handed over to the families after post-mortem. A case has been registered against an unknown person.
