
NEW DELHI, May 9: The Okhla police have reportedly solved the robbery of 600 rolls of Rexine stolen from a truck about five days ago. They have arrested three persons, who have been identified as Devesh, Hakim and Raju. The police have also recovered 366 of the 600 rolls stolen on May 4.
The police are still on the lookout for Rajesh, the driver, and Vijay, his helper, who allegedly connived with the three accused persons.
According to the police, on May 5, Rajesh and Vijay left the Okhla depot with a truck for a factory near Kondli Border. The truck was carrying a container of 600 rolls of Rexine. When the truck did not reach its destination till the next day, the truck owner, Rajesh Mehta reported the matter to the Okhla police. A case of criminal breach of trust was registered against Rajesh and Vijay.
During the investigations, the police discovered that Hakim, a junk dealer had broke open the door of the container with the help of Rajesh and Vijay. The stolen consignment was reportedly disposed of by Devesh.
