8226; I was beaten and interrogated continuously after my arrest on December 23, 2002. I was beaten like an animal. I was beaten on my head with shoes by the officers at the back while we were travelling from Aurangabad to Bombay. I can identify most of the police officers, who had threatened that if I complain about it in court, I would be 8216;encountered8217;8230;

8226; On January 4 and 5, 2003, I was interrogated at Powai. On January 4, Zaheer and Muzammil were taken to Ghatkopar. Yunus and I were at Powai.

8226; On the night of January 4, we were beaten during interrogation. Police beat us with belts and lathis. On January 5, our interrogation started at 10 am8230; they beat us with belts on both hands, legs and buttocks. 8230; I was unable to walk and unable to eat with my hands. Two constables were beating him with the belt.
