Truly, it was Asha Bhosle all the way. At the Asha..Kal..Aaj..Hamesha concert which took place on Saturday night, the melody queen spoke extensively about her childhood memories with her Lata tai. Okay, the so-called fight is finally over! Or so it seems.Attention from her music was momentarily deflected by the appearance of a glamourous Kajol, striking in a black top, sequinned trouser and beige shawl, as she broke into an impromptu twirl to a song from Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge. Urmila, came next, performing the Rangeela Re. Also out in eye-popping style were Tabu, in a shimmering white salwar kameez and the ever-gorgeous Rekha, a little out of place with jasmine in her hair. Others seen that evening were singer Rajeshwari, Satish Shah, Yash Chopra and an ever-smiling Smita Thackeray. Although we could have seen more of Shivamani, the dazzling fireworks, all the star power and of course Asha Bhonsle made it an evening to remember.
