Yes, I8217;ve come a long way,8217;8217; Naresh Gulati, CEO of the OCA Group, walks down memory lane. Born in Chandigarh, Naresh recounts how he sold candles on the road to earn a living. 8220;We borrowed 5,000 rupees from someone to start the business and our assets are now 400 crore today,8217;8217; Naresh has created an enterprise in Australia that is valued at A100 million. Two of Naresh8217;s companies, Oceanic Consultants, one of the most successful companies in the international education industry and BPO Intelligence, have bagged several Australian Business Awards. A former student of Government College, Sector 11, it8217;s his college and teachers that he attributes musch of his success to, 8220;Education plays a big role and I guess I was at the right place at the right time and my will to move abroad and start from scratch proved to be a blessing,8217;8217; Naresh8217;s in town to catch up with family and friends. 8220;It hasn8217;t been an easy journey. I had to work hard and it was a struggle to complete my post-graduation from RMIT University, Melbourne and set up a business in an alien land. But hard work, patience and honesty always pay,8217;8217; Naresh says you have to believe in yourself to be a success.
