PUNE, May 13: It was rather a rare sight on the opening day of the 4th Kirkee Cantonment Board8217;s Presidents Cup football tournament.

On other ocassions while guests have made the teams and organsers wait for them, at the Ammunition Factory ground here today it the the other way around, as the guest were made to wait for the team, and that too in vain.

It was the Bombay Engineering Group, Kirkee and Falcon Sports Club who were to clash in the tournament, but the later failed to turn up, much to the astonishment of the many guests who were present there.

And to complete the formalities of the inauguration, the BEG team was split into two teams and they played for 10 minutes each half.

Later, the Poona District Football Association official stated that Falcon Sports Club from Pimpri has been scratched from the tournmanet, and action against them will be taken.
