Expressing Baba ji8217;s concern over the warlike situation in Kargil sector, he called upon Nirankari followers, especially the youth, to donate blood for the injured soldiers.
As many as 190 young artistes from 57 places of northern states, presented songs, speeches and skits, all related to the unity of mankind on the occasion.
Those who won the first prizes in the 7-12 age-group are: Neelam, from Ludhiana Antakshri, Manish Sethi, of SAS Nagar speeches, Karuna Dhawan, of Karnal song, Neha and party, hailing from Chandigarh skit, Kiran Arora, of Bareilly English song and Manpreet, of Mandi Gobindgarh shabad. In the age group of 13-19 years: Priyanka, of Agra poem, Shailja, of Ludhiana speech in English, Sudeepa, of Manimajra song, Sushil Gambhir, of Delhi skit, Neetu and party, from Chandigarh qawali and Sonika of Patiala speech.
