CHANDIGARH, Sept 30: "We liked the City for its architecture and greenery. I have come here with my students to study Indian culture." This is what Dr Ulrich Bichsel, professor of Geography at Kirchenfeld College at Berne, Switzerland, feels about Chandigarh. Ulrich and Jean Louis Schwarz lead a group of 17 students on a study tour to India. They will be leaving Chandigarh tomorrow after spending three days here. Ulrich said these students are in their last year of graduation. "This is our first station and we will visit Agra, Jodhpur and Mumbai during the 15-day tour," he added.These geography students have chosen Indian culture as an optional subject in their graduation. They will study architecture of the Indian cities and casteism as a part of Indian culture. The Swiss students have been invited by Gurnam Singh and Company, Tubewell Engineers and Consultants.
