Swimming pool inaugurated

CHANDIGARH, July 27: The much awaited swimming pool at PGI premises was inaugurated today by BNS Walia, former director of PGI. The pool which is for PGI employees only is 21 metres by 25 metres and has eight lanes.

The pool would be open till October 31 and more than fifty forms have been issued for membership till now.

The morning session starts from 5 a.m. to 6 a.m. for resident doctor and men. For families it will be 6 a.m. to 7 a.m., while for female it will be 7 a.m. to 8 a.m.

The evening session will begin at 5 p.m.

The membership fee for half-session is Rs 120 and monthly fee is Rs 50. While per day it is Rs 10.
