
Burns death
One Miraben Motiram Rumal, 30, a resident of Rasoolabad Society at Azadnagar died in the New Civil hospital of the city on Monday afternoon, where she had been receiving treatment for burn injuries for the past one week, the Mahidharpura police said. Miraben suffered severe burns when a stove exploded in her house while cooking, the police added. A case under section 174 of the Code of Criminal Procedure has been registered and is being investigated.
Vehicle stolen
The Limbayat police have registered a case of vehicle theft under section 379 of the IPC when a Maruti car in the city was stolen by unidentified people. Pramod Agarwal, a resident of Pink City Apartments at Limbayat, complained to the police that his car GEA 26, which was parked in the parking space of his apartment was stolen on Monday. The car was stolen between 10 am and noon on Monday, he added.
Theft
Unidentified people, broke into a gas agency godown and decamped with eight cylinders filled with liquefied petroleum gas, a case registered in the Limbayat police station on Monday stated. Shaileshbhai Patel, the owner of the godown told the police that when he came to the godown, located opposite Dindoli Bus Stand on Monday, eight cylinders were missing from the cylinder. The police have registered a case under sections 380 and 457 of the IPC.
Brawl
A case has been registered against an unidentified person, who is reported to have beaten up three people, the Athwa police said. According to information, one Mohammed Hussain Qureshi, his friend one Sudhakar and an unidentified woman were consuming liquor at the Tapi river bank under Makkai Pool on Sunday night, when a person beat them up.
