Group dialling facilityThe Surat Telecom District has said that due to technical reasons group dialling facility (91/92) could not be extended to Dolara, Dolvan, Ghata and Umarpada, Vyara (20), Valod (20), Olpad (22), Kim (32), Kamrej (52), Fort Songadh (22), Madhi (42), Kadod (L-7, L8) and Palsana (L-7) levels. Reacting to news reports regarding non-availability of the facility at these places, the department said it had already made clear where the facility would or would not be extended. However, manufacturers of the exchanges where group dialling facility cannot be extended have been approached for making necessary software changes.Polio campThe Manav Seva Sannidhi has organised an `Artificial Limb and Polio Camp' near Suruchi Colony, at Atul, Valsad, from January 19 to 28.
