Education camp
The Forest department South Dangs has planned to hold an education camp at the Waghai national park. More than 1000 students and 100 teachers from Valsad, Dangs, and Navsari districts, are expected to take part in the camp, which is to begin from November 29. Lectures on vegetation, kinds of soil, water, forests, wildlife, environment, herbs, soil conservation, non conventional sources of energy, among others, will also be held.

Closure ordered
Dc R M Shah has directed to two licenced liquor shops to close from Tuesday to Friday in view of Bharuch by-polls, on November 25.

Lok darbar
A lok darbar will be organised in Vyara on December 4. The darbar will be conducted by Sudhaben Anchalia, IAS officer, at 1 pm and will attempt to dispose of all pending issues submitted to the DC till November 22. Anchalia will solve problems of those hailing from Songadh, Uchchal, Mahuva, Bardoli, and Vyara taluka, on the spot.

Youth festival
The 31th rural youth festival, organised by the youth and culture department, was held in Bardoli.
