Support to Capt only after probe ends: Dullo

The Congress on Sunday said that the decision regarding party support to former Punjab chief minister Amarinder Singh, facing corruption allegations in the Ludhiana City Centre scam, will be taken only after the state government submits its chargesheet in the matter. 8220;Let the investigation be over and a 8216;challan8217; chargesheet be submitted in the court of law. We will decide about extending support to Amarinder Singh later on,8221; state unit chief Shamsher Singh Dullo said when asked whether the party saw the allegations against Singh as 8220;political vendetta8221;.

Dullo said the MLAs who extended support to Singh at Patiala recently, did so in their 8220;individual capacity8221; and the party had 8220;nothing to do with it8221;. Pointing out that inquiry into the matter was ordered by Singh himself, Dullo said the party would decide only after filing of the chargesheet whether it was a case of 8220;political vendetta8221; or not.
