Anvi Boxing Club is conducting a one-and-a-half month long boxing coaching camp at the Pune Municipal Sports Club premises near Saras Baug from April 15 to May 31. The training techniques will be imparted by qualified trainers. BG Agawane, national referee and former trainer of the Maharashtra boxing squad alongwith Mahendra Zaveri, recently appointed national referee will conduct the proceedings.
Hockey and Cricket
Judson High School, Pimpri has planned a month-long summer coaching camp for boys and girls at their school premises from Monday, April 12. The camp which will conducted free of cost is being sponsored by Computer Pro and will be held in two disciplines hockey and cricket. The camp will be held in two sessions 8.00 to 10.00 a.m and 4.00 to 6.00. Interested students have been asked to contact Shridharan Thamba on Tel. no. 774573 between 7.30 a.m to 1.00 p.m.

Former Indian Test cricketer Hemant Kanitkar will be holding a cricket coaching camp at the Wadia College grounds from April 19- June 31. Hockey
The annual hockey coaching camp organised by the Champions Trust will be held from April 15 to May 15. The month long camp invites boys and girls between the age group of 7-16 years and will be conducted by former Indian women8217;s hockey captain Namarata Shah. Miscellaneous
Maharashtra State Employees Cultural Society, will be conducting a 40 day summer sports coaching camp at the Alpa Bachat Bhavan from April 15 to May 25. The camp is being held jointly with the Director of Sports, Maharashtra State and is open for children between the age group of 5 to 18 years.
The sports which will be included in the camp include athletics, basketball, volley ball, badminton, table tennis, lawn tennis, trekking, gymnastics and karate. Besides the coaching, the participants will also be shown video tapes on the various sports and will also be taken for picnics. The timings of the camp are from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. attendance compulsory and 5.30 p.m. to 7.00 p.m. optional. A fee of Rs 150 will be charged per child and entry forms are available in the office of the Alpa Bachat Bhavan till April 15 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
