Now everyone knows the employees had already settled for the deal they are now getting. It transpires the minister wasn8217;t keen to include the CMD in the hierarchy of the company formed by the merger of Indian and Air-India, but had to give in to political pressure. The strike is being seen as the CMD8217;s way of getting back at the mantri.
