Straight jackets

A winter jacket is the only thing you need to update in your wardrobe this season. The basic denim jacket remains a favourite with all, but this season you could replace it with a short, cropped jacket in different fabrics and colours. 8220;Short jackets in cotton or brocade with a three-quarter sleeve look great with a layered look,8221; says designer Nikasha Tawadey. Another option is a warm, fitted black over-coat that you can wear when the weather gets too chilly. 8220;The good thing about a black overcoat is that it goes with anything and will always be in style,8221; she says. If you are willing to experiment, wear a coloured jacket with stylish sleeves or buttons that would clash. You could also invest in a long cardigan that can be tied up at the waist. 8220;It gives a slimming effect,8221; says Tawadey.
